SCANDIC SERVICE provides professional services for specific tasks to perform. SCANDIC SERVICE as contractors does:

• Send a team to fulfill all the tasks agreed in the contract;
• Have a foreman(s), who is capable to speak English with the client and give orders to the team according to clients demands;
• Supply majority of tools and materials (necessary for the job);
• Decide on the amount of  workers to be used and on their qualifications;
• Take full responsibility for performed work quality and time;
• Supply with fixed contract schedule and price for the performed contract work;
• Long-term and short-term contracts.

Using SCANDIC SERVICE provided contract services client does not waste it’s time and company’s resources for staff selection, employment, continual control of work, work time accounting, paying wages, tax accounting, paying taxes.

SCANDIC SERVICE has  its own worker teams, working for years, for different sectors. We are always expanding and many workers join us. At the moment there are 40 employees working in the company. Depending on the season this number rises to 100 employees. All the workers are from Lithuania.

Working in different fields requires having right qualifications and experience, so the selection process is done by stages. First thorough interviews are made by our HR manager, work tests are performed to check if the worker has right professional skills, profession and psychological tests are given to evaluate candidate’s abilities to perform tasks, work in a team and follow orders.

If the candidate passes first stages his references from previous employers, certificates and other relevant information is checked to get the best result – a new member of our team.

Agriculture contract works:

• Planting/nursing/harvesting potatoes, salads, cabbage, cauliflowers, melons and other vegetable;
• Field works as operators of tractors, planting machines and other various machinery;
• Packing/loading/unloading harvested production;
• Various crop cultivation and harvesting;
• Other manual and machinery work for preparing soil during the season.

Horticulture contract works (greenhouses):

• Preparing for planting (adding soil, preparing drip irrigation system, preparing plant growing place, cleaning etc.);
• Planting/potting/nursing/grafting/pinching/fertilizing/watering/harvesting etc. cucumbers, tomato young plants, cucumbers and tomato vegetables, various flowers (Gerbera, Christmas star, Cyclamen, Roses, Hibiscus etc.)
• Packing, loading and unloading with various machinery and mechanisms (sorting, packing machines and conveyers, potting lines, driving forklifts etc.).
• Disinfecting and total cleaning of greenhouses and it’s premises;
• Maintenance of the glasshouse.

Nurseries contract works:

• Potting various fruit trees/roses in the pots;
• Planting roses in the fields with planting machine, tractor;
• Pruning;
• All nursery works including preparing the beds with water irrigation system, cleaning the nursery premises.

Forestry contract works for nursing and harvesting trees:

• Planting/replanting trees seedlings;
• Fertilizing young plants, also Nobilis and Nordman grown trees;
• Moving/collecting bird sticks for leader grow correction;
• Spraying herbicides, spraying chemicals with pigment for leader grow supervision (or making leader grow stop with “Topstop” tangs);
• Pruning and basal pruning
• Making/redoing fence, gates of the fence;
• Labeling/flagging trees;
• Cut weed;
• Cutting various sizes Nordman trees;
• Cutting Nobilis/Nordman branches various sizes and making bundles of various weight;
• Packing/netting trees in the fields;
• Loading/unloading production;
• Making various types wooden pellets.

Other:

• Various works in mink farms.

We also make various bouquets of cut branches (Tuja/Nobilis/Nordman), advent rings. Can cooperate with christmas trees growers and make their products in Lithuania for Russian market or Western Europe (outsource).

Service agreement

With every client we sign contract work service agreement in which we state all the relevant information. On your demand examples of contract work agreement can be provided. All contracts are approved by SKAT.

Taxes

As contractors we have forms E101(A1) provided by Lithuanian authorities to prove workers social security in home country (Lithuania). They are paid to Lithuanian TAX office (VMI). For health security we have forms E106 or Europe health insurance card issued by Lithuanian authorities to prove their health insurance and/or we make additional insurance of 100’000 EU for their health during work in Denmark. All services are performed under Danish legislation concerning work environment and insurance.

Payment

Payment usually is every two weeks for performed services. Total price on the contract, for the agreed amount of production, is fixed.

Working hours

Working hours during contract work is the responsibility of SCANDIC SERVICE. The most important thing is to finish the contract works on time according to the agreed schedule. But be sure, flexibility is one of SCANDIC SERVICE strongest sides.
